What is University of Scouting?
The University of Scouting is a one-day leader training program designed to provide ideas and resources in areas to benefit your Pack, Troop or Crew. The University of Scouting is offered once a year to assist ALL Scout volunteers in their Scouting positions.
Who attends the University of Scouting?
All Adult Volunteers. This includes Cub Scout Leaders and Parents, Boy Scout Leaders, Venturing Leaders, Commissioners, District and Council Level Volunteers, and all other Scout Volunteers. General courses are offered as well as courses for specific units and positions. You do not have to be a registered Leader to participate. (Note special training has been set up for Den Chiefs as noted below.)
What are the Dates & Times?
This will be an all-day event on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Where Will University of Scouting Be Held?
Registration and opening ceremony will take place in Zimmer Auditorium.
